MCLE Lecture Series

Since its accreditation in 2005, USC College of Law has sponsored two MCLE seminars in complete fulfillment of the 36 units-requirement of the Supreme Court for one compliance period. It has gathered respected lecturers and professors from Manila and Cebu City to lecture on various areas of law.

P2,800.00 only for participants registering from March 2 to April 15, 2008

P3,000.00 for participants registering from April 16 to Seminar dates

P1,500.00 for one day seminar only.

1st Visayas-Wide Conference on Labor Issues

The College is scheduled to hold the First Visayas-Wide Conference on Labor Issues, October 5-6, 2006 at the Casino Espaņol de Cebu at V. Ranudo St., Cebu City. The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Arturo Brion will be the guest speaker ofthe Retooling/MCLE-accredited activity which is co-sponsored by the Association of Accredited Voluntary Arbitrators of Central Visayas (AVAC), Inc., the National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB), and the Philippine Association on Voluntary Arbitration (PAVA, Inc.).

Seminar fee: P2,500 (inclusive of morning and afternoon snacks, lunch, and seminar kit.) for early birds who will register up to September 12, and VAs; P2800 for those who will register from September 16-30; P3000 for those who will register from October1-4; and P3,500 for those who sign up on site.


MCLE Seminar

In cooperation with the USC Law Alumni Association and the USC Bar Operations Committee, the College is scheduled to hold another MCLE Seminar on October 26-27, 2006 at the Cebu Grand Convention Center. The seminar will cover 18 of the 36 units requirement for the second compliance period. Credit units may also be used as part of the Completion Plan for those who have not fully complied with the requirements for the first compliance period.

Limited seats only.
